I have a bachelors degree in computer science. This technical background, combined with my MBA in marketing, naturally led me into web design.

The main purpose of a website is typically to distribute information, but a poorly designed website will not lead to return visitors. A friend once told me that visiting a new website is like entering a new retail store. You immediately size up the store layout, the quality of the merchandise, and the attentiveness of the staff. Website visitors are no different. They want a website that looks professional, meets their needs, and is easy to navigate.
