ABOUT ME

My name is Luke Porter, and I am 25 years old. I am married to my high school sweetheart, and we had our first child in October 2006. When I'm not designing something, or just goofing around in Photoshop, I can be found playing video games with my wife or watching movies. Most of my other hobbies can be found here on my site.

I have done professional graphic design work for 6 years, and professional web design work for 5 years. I have a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science and an MBA in Marketing. I am a Christian and a conservative. I eat organic food and drink raw milk. I have been known to make faces at myself in the mirror. I still go to my local comic book shop every week. I am a pisces.

Why do I go by the name 'Luke314pi' online? When I was in 5th grade, my math teacher said if anyone in the class could memorize the first 100 digits of pi, he would give that student $20. I won the bet. Around the same time I got AOL for the first time, and I needed a unique screen name. You can imagine how many Lukes were already out there, so I needed something different. And thus Luke314pi was born. I still remember every one of those 100 digits today. They don't go away.
